Grâce à ce document, on peut aussi évaluer l’influence d’un William Pierce que j’ai cité plus haut comme membre de la JBS des sixties, et de son best-seller nazi ‘Turner diaries’ sur Timothy McVeigh, auteur de l’attentat d’Oklahoma-city, et sur John William King. Ce dernier trouvant lui aussi son “inspiration” dans le même livre, a, le 7 juin 1998, battu à mort puis traîné un homme de couleur enchaîné par les pieds à l’arrière de son pick-up dans les rues de Jasper, Texas, trois miles durant.

Revilo (mort en 1994), membre fondateur de la JBS, faux historien et vrai révisionniste, qui fut interrogé par la Commission Warren (il était toujours à la JBS) en rapport à ses deux articles ultra conspirationnistes sur l’assassinat de JFK: "Marxmanship in Dallas" and "Marxmanship in Dallas II" parus en février et mars 1964 dans American opinion.

Walker en raison de son prosélytisme raciste et de la diffusion de propagande pour la JBS auprès des unités de soldats affectés à son service. C’est à la suite de l’affaire Walker que JFK adopta et signa le Fulbright Memorandum afin de limiter le droit d’expression des officiers dans l’US Army.

Perso, je partage assez l’avis de Rex Bradford dans son excellent article sur History-matters, Lasting Questions about the Murder of President Kennedy, l’implication de membres de l’extrême droite sudiste reste fort plausible, même si celle-ci n’a pas pu tout cordonner à elle toute seule:

The Right-Wing - In the Warren Commission's sole interview with Jack Ruby, Ruby dropped a giant hint about the involvement of the John Birch Society and right-wing ex-general Edwin Walker, and then declared "...me giving the people the opportunity to get into power, because of the act I committed, has put a lot of people in jeopardy with their lives. Doesn't register with you, does it?" Earl Warren answered "No, I don't understand that." Dallas, Texas, was in 1963 a hotbed of right-wing militarism and racism, and the behavior of the Dallas Police fueled suspicions of a Dallas-based right-wing plot. Wealthy oilman H. L. Hunt, whose son had met with Ruby just prior to the assassination, went into hiding for a time after the Kennedy murder. A locally-based right-wing plot, by itself doesn't begin to explain the sophisticated setup of Oswald in New Orleans and Mexico City.
