Warren Commission

An investigating commission whose purpose was to shed light on the assassination of John Fitzgerald Kennedy.

It was presided by US Chief Justice Earl Warren. Its other members were Richard B. Russell, John Sherman Cooper, Hale Boggs, Gerald R. Ford, Allen W. Dulles and John J. McCloy.

The Commission's counsellors were Francis W. H. Adams, John A. Ball, David W. Belin, William T. Coleman, Melvin A. Eisenberg, Burt W. Griffin, Leon D. Hubert, Albert E. Jenner, Wesley J. Liebeler, Norman Redlich, William D. Slawson, Arlen Specter, Samuel A. Stern, Howard P. Willens.
