The House Select Committee on Assassinations releases its report about the assassination of John F. Kennedy. According to its conclusions, JFK was probably assassinated as a result of a conspiracy, though the HSCA cannot identify its members. This report is definitely opposed to the 1964 Warren report, whose conclusion was that Lee Harvey Oswald was the lone killer. Here, the report tells of a "high probability" that a second gunman shot at JFK.
