Jesse E. Curry
Richard Nixon, who had lost the 1960 presidential election against John F. Kennedy, was in Dallas for a business meeting (as Pepsi Cola's attorney) on November 22, 1963. He left the city a couple of hours before JFK's assassination.

In the seventies, a researcher obtained a 1947 report from the FBI stating that Jack Ruby was to be put under close surveillance as he was working for senator Richard Nixon as an informant.

Nixon became the 37th President of the United States, but had to resign because of the Watergate scandal.

Chapter I - Summary and Conclusions: ... the crime and promptly report details frequently led to erroneous and often conflicting reports. At the urgings of the newsmen, Chief of Police Jesse E. Curry, brought Oswald to a press conference in the police assembly room shortly after midnight of the day Oswald was arrested.
