Santo Trafficante Jr

Santo Trafficante Jr

Birthdate: November 15, 1914 - Death: Tuesday March 17, 1987

A Maffia boss in Florida, Santo Trafficante Jr has been accused of threatening JFK's life several times. Trafficante was deeply involved in the CIA plots aiming to assassinate Fidel Castro.

Some say that he would have told Jose Aleman that Kennedy would not live up to the next election, and would die in office.

Trafficante sought the protection of the Fifth Amendment (against 'self-incrimination') when he was asked by the HSCA whether he had ever discussed plans to kill JFK, and whether Jack Ruby had visited him after he was imprisoned by Castro along with other mobsters.
