A Dallas Time Herald journalist, he was murdered on September 21, 1964 in his Dallas appartment.

His death was deemed suspicious by some researchers. Indeed, he was one of the three reporters who had a meeting with George Senator (Jack Ruby's roommate) in Ruby's appartment. The three journalists died shortly after that meeting.
