William C. Bishop

William C. Bishop
A US Army colonel who admitted to have taken part in political assassinations (such as the killing of Dominican Republic dictator Rafael Trujillo in 1961). He was a CIA agent.

He claimed to have been in New Orleans in August or September, 1963, to be the medium between the Maffia and an anti-Castro group : Alpha 66 (which, according to a former CIA agent, would have been involved in the JFK assassination).

On November 22, 1963, Bishop was in charge of checking the journalists' credentials at the Trade Mart, where John F. Kennedy was to deliver a speech in the afternoon. He was waiting for the President's arrival when he learned that shots had been fired in Dealey Plaza. Then he asked to be driven to Parkland Memorial Hospital, where the Secret Service asked him to remain at Jackie Kennedy and the medical staff's service.
