Roger D. Craig

Roger D. Craig
Birthdate: 0, 1934 - Death: Thursday May 15, 1975

A deputy-Sheriff of Dallas who declared he saw a man run down the grassy slope located before the TSBD fifteen minutes after the Dealey Plaza shooting. The man he later identified as Lee Harvey Oswald got on a white Nash Rambler car.

Craig told captain Will Fritz what he had seen.

Craig declared he was shocked by reading his testimony as printed in the Warren Commission report, claiming it had been changed at fourteen occasions.

Craig also was at the TSBD's sixth-floor with Eugene Boone and Symour Weitzman when a weapon was found there. As the other two officers, he declared it was a 7.65 Mauser, and not a Mannlicher-Caracano.

He testified during Clay Shaw's trial in New Orleans in 1967, and escaped several attempted murders before dying -officially by shooting himself, shortly after a series of radio programs devoted to JFK's assassination.

Craig testified that later i...
